The 50th issue of GRAPHIC is published as a collaborative project with the Typojanchi 2023 Open Quotation Marks, Close Quotation Marks. The theme of the Typojanchi 2023 is ʻtypography and sound.’ This issue features some works and writings inspiring the exhibition team of Typojanchi 2023 in preparing the exhibition, as well as works and notes by artists participating in it. Most of them, however, are neither displayed in the exhibition nor put in the exhibition catalogue. In other words, the 50th issue of GRAPHIC does not deal with the same contents but the contents shared by. They can be said to be overlapped but, at the same time, misaligned.

This magazine presents content fragmentarily instead of delivering clear information and staying consistent flow. The structure of this magazine is similar to not only the artworks included in it but also Typojanchi 2023, which can be said to be the way of following internal rhythm or necessity rather than establishing formal ways to represent contents.
